Snow Chance

There was a chance for a large snowfall here, but very little fell. Then the rain kept it from lingering for very long. The little bit of snow on the fallen tree in the foreground is a reminder of how this scene could be transformed by a blizzard. This is Funston Cascade in the Daniel Boone National Forest at Laurel County, Kentucky.
