Come Hither (Photo 1 of 4)
Places like this speak to me. Mostly they say "come hither." Unfortunately, the unique topography at this location kept me from immediately heeding the call. Waterfalls are at each end of this canyon, and sheer rock walls are on each side. So this is the view I had to settle for until after I learned to rappel. This is Laurel Canyon Falls in Laurel County, Kentucky. This is the first of a series of four photos of this canyon. The next two photos show the same waterfall as viewed from the bottom of the canyon. The fourth photo shows the waterfall at the lower end of the canyon.
