Forces Of Nature

I floated my boat over the top of this waterfall when Lake Cumberland was at the "summer pool" water level. The lake and Handcock Creek both deposit logs, branches, sediment and etc. near the base of the waterfall. After the lake recedes, the creek cuts a channel through the latest deposits. It is interesting to see how the beach/stream/lake bottom is constantly being altered by the forces of nature. This is Horseshoe Falls in Clinton County, Kentucky.
