Oh Chute!
This is Upper Tweed Branch Chute in the Daniel Boone National Forest at Laurel County, Kentucky. This is one of many obstacles which make walking this stream difficult. It's a fun adventure, but the required detours often involve going up very steep slopes and getting past thick rhododendron. Then you need to find some way to get down into the next hole to do it all over again. That's fine by me. Once in place it's great to enjoy these hidden beauties up close. You certainly won't see any tourists here. It's like having your own personal waterfalls.
