Treacherous Treading
This stream continues to flow down a slippery slope for only about 20 or 30 feet more feet before plunging over a high cliff. That downstream waterfall is shown in the next photo. This indention in the top of the large cliff is not easy to access. On my first visit here I wasn't prepared to make the descent. So I made a rope ladder which I used to gain access on another day. I made the descent just off camera beyond the right edge of this photo. Then I walked behind the waterfall to setup for this shot. This is Upper Branch Of Rock Creek Falls in Laurel County, Kentucky.
