Serendipity

I feel fortunate to have captured this scene on my first visit to this location. Upon arrival I was greeted by blinding sunlight streaming through a clear area in the sky. Soon a cloud moved in front of the sun, and a photogenic sunset was born. Next some boats moved through the area. I thought the boats and their wake trails added an interesting aspect to the scene. However, I was disappointed to see the boats obscuring some pretty reflections in the water. Then one boat parked in an ideal spot for a few minutes. When it took off again I snapped this photo before the best of the remaining reflections were affected by the wake. This location is Garland Bend at Lake Cumberland.
