Too Stoked To Be Sleepy
Excited anticipation for this trip kept me awake most of the night before. This is Shady Creek Falls (a.k.a Greasy Creek Falls) in Russell County, KY. It drops into Lake Cumberland, so it's height varies depending upon the lake level. At the time of this photo, the waterfall height was 62 feet. The water level in the lake was 700 feet at the time. The lake level varies as follows: Full Pool: 723.00 feet, Winter Pool: 673.00 feet and Flood Pool: 760.00 feet.
