Sneaky Snaking Stream

This is Line Fork Lower Falls in McCreary County, Kentucky. During high flow I suspect a portion of the water skips the twists and turns shown here, and continues straight (as the wear pattern in the rock at the bottom of the photo indicates). I that case a portion of the stream would fall off of a ledge to create an entirely different looking waterfall.
