This is an early October shot from Owsley Fork Reservoir on the Madison County/Jackson County line in Kentucky. In a fanciful moment I imagined the little tree in the foreground trying to encourage the trees on the opposite shore to display their fall colors. It seemed that only a small number of trees along the shoreline had noticed so far.
