Mossy Sculpture
I did a detailed LiDAR analysis of this area to find "new to me" waterfalls on small unnamed streams. The stream in this photo is dry most of the time. Therefore, it doesn't appear on maps, or get much attention. That doesn't mean it doesn't have potential.
I took this photo the day after about six tenths of rain fell. I hope to get a photo of this waterfall after a big rain someday. In the meantime, I decided to go ahead and post this photo which features the mossy rock in the foreground. Wintertime green is hard to find in this area, so I was delighted by this mossy feature. It almost appears as if the mossy rock is melting, and flowing down to the stream.
The waterfall in the background is "Branch Of Illwill Creek Falls 3". It is located in Clinton, County, Kentucky.
